My English Teacher Loves My Writing
Seriously. We had a huge important test the other day where we had to write a full, complete essay as part of it. I always panic (for some reason) when we have to write essays, so I spent half of the “suggested 40 min.” trying to calm down a bit. Eventually I got down four alright paragraphs that kinda-sorta covered the topic. I expected to get half-credit on that portion for not completing the essay, and maybe a few more points off for not covering the topic very well. Well, NOPE! I got full credit for the essay, she wrote little notes like “Great!”, “Perfect!”, and she even put a star next to it! I feel so empowered for some reason.
