I won’t even try to convince myself I won’t procrastinate on this huge project. Might as well accept it, and waste four weeks by saying I’ll start it soon when I know I won’t.
My English Teacher Loves My Writing
Seriously. We had a huge important test the other day where we had to write a full, complete essay as part of it. I always panic (for some reason) when we have to write essays, so I spent half of the “suggested 40 min.” trying to calm down a bit. Eventually I got down four alright paragraphs that kinda-sorta covered the topic. I expected to get half-credit on that portion for not completing the essay, and maybe a few more points off for not covering the topic very well. Well, NOPE! I got full credit for the essay, she wrote little notes like “Great!”, “Perfect!”, and she even put a star next to it! I feel so empowered for some reason.
I’ve run out of series/novels to read. And school book reports are starting up again. So, I’m going to have to read books that are over ten years old now.
One time, some teacher marked me absent in his class on a day I was clearly there, and so, for some reason, I got detention for it. I tried to explain that I was there but no one would believe me……..but whatever. That was almost a year ago.
